What is Decorate With Me?

Decorate With Me is a new service being provided in the Santa Clarita, California area. Cake decorating is becoming wildly popular, and Decorate With Me makes it possible for you to have a cake decorating party in your own home. While generally popular for children's birthday parties, Decorate With Me can also be enjoyed by adults for either a one time party or a series of classes (see below).

Why should I choose Decorate with Me?

Decorate With Me parties are just plain fun! I bring the supplies, you provide the kids, and everything is taken care of.

Who will be teaching the parties?

Let me introduce myself -- my name is Angel. I have taught cake decorating for over eight years, and I absolutely love it. I especially love to teach children, and I have bachelors degrees in elementary and special education. I am excited to bring the dynamic world of cake decorating into your home -- there is nothing more fun than eating what you make!

What is included at a cake decorating party?

Well, myself, of course. Also included in the cost are all supplies (cookies/cupcakes/mini cakes, frosting, decorating tools, instructional time, setup, and cleanup). I bring everything you'll need. You provide the children. I'll provide the sugar. Just select from the various packages to find one that meets your needs.

90 Minute Party includes:
  • Three cupcakes to ice and decorate per child.
  • All tools, supplies, and icing needed.
  • Instruction on how to ice the cupcakes and use a star tip and a round tip (stars, zig zag, polka-dots, lines, writing).
  • Set up and cleanup.

    • Minimum of eight children @ $12.00 per child
  • 6" sugar cookie to ice and decorate per child.
  • All tools, supplies, and icing needed.
  • Instruction on how to ice the cookie and the use of a star and a round tip (stars, zig zag, polka-dots, lines, writing).
  • Set up and cleanup.

    • Minimum of eight children @ $14.00 per child
  • One 6" mini cake to ice and decorate per child.
  • All tools, supplies, and icing needed.
  • Instruction on how to ice the cake and the use of a star and a round tip (stars, zig zag, polka-dots, lines, writing, and basic borders).
  • Set up and cleanup.

    • Minimum of eight children @ $16.00 per child
    **Decorating a large sugar cookie provides a larger work surface for children to decorate on than a cupcake, and is easier for smaller children to frost than a 6" mini cake.
    On a budget?

    Simply pay $10 per child (minimum of eight children), and do your own baking. I still provide:
  • All tools, supplies, and icing needed.
  • Instruction on how to ice the cupcake/cookie/mini cake and the use of a star and a round tip (stars, zig zag, polka-dots, lines, writing).
  • Set up and cleanup.


    • Want more than just the basics? Get a group together and have some fun!

    Two Week Class:
  • $20 per person (minimum of eight people)
  • Two week class (two hours per class)
  • Instruction on how to make your own icing*, ice and decorate a cake using basic cake decorating skills (stars, zig zag, polka-dots, lines, writing).
    • *Icing and cakes are not provided.
    Four Week Class:
  • $40 per person (minimum of eight people)
  • Four week class (two hours per class)
  • Instruction on how to make your own icing*, ice and decorate a cake using basic cake decorating skills (stars, zig zag, polka-dots, lines, writing, borders, simple, flowers, the rose, and more!).
